Football, the one played with your feet and worshipped all over the globe, is my favourite escape. Playing and watching. I am a fan of football first and then of Arsenal. Translated, this means I can still appreciate elegant play even if it is by the hated Spurs.
I read and re-read a lot of fiction. My most re-read stories include Frank Herbert’s first Dune trilogy, the Liaden Universe books by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, the Vlad Taltos tales by Steven Brust, the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, and the Uplift universe books by David Brin.
I love cats. The highlight of any walk is getting to pet a neighbourhood cat. Necessarily separately, I also love feeding the squirrels in my back garden.
